#Tezpur | World Cancer Day Outreach Focuses on Holistic Health through Awareness, Prevention, and Early Detection A Health-cum-Cancer Awareness Program was organized on the occasion of World Cancer Day at Gandhi Ashram School, Jahaj Ghat, Tezpur, with the objective of spreading awareness, encouraging early detection, and promoting a healthier society. The initiative was led by Dr. Venkata Pradeep Babu Koyyala and organized by Viswapragna Foundation, with active participation from the community, including students and their guardians. The program emphasized healthy lifestyle practices, cancer awareness, types of cancer, and preventable cancers, while also highlighting the importance of accessing verified and authentic health information in an era of widespread misinformation. In addition, an eye screening camp for students and staff was conducted with the support of Arogya Foundation of India reinforcing the message of preventive healthcare and early intervention. The initiative reflected a collaborative effort by healthcare and social organizations to bring meaningful, community-centered health education and services directly to the grassroots.
